From directly above, Lago di Carezza reveals its shape: a vivid turquoise oval, ringed by dark pine forest, looking up at the sky like an open eye.
Morning fog moves through the trees in this frame, softening the edges of the forest without touching the water. The lake holds its colour regardless.
The aerial perspective strips away every reference point. What remains is colour, geometry, and the strange stillness of a lake that seems to be watching back.
