Each frame measures 100 × 70 cm and is made to order by local framing experts using premium materials, entirely crafted in Germany. The result is a product that not only looks refined but also stands the test of time.

The artwork itself is printed on Hahnemühle PhotoRag® 308 gsm Fine Art Paper, a matte, softly textured paper that gives each photograph exceptional depth and tonal richness.

To preserve the integrity of the artwork, every piece is mounted behind a museum-grade, hand-cut passepartout (approx. 2 mm thick, white). The passepartout plays an essential role — it creates visual depth, adds a refined border that draws the viewer’s eye to the image, and ensures that the print does not touch the glass, protecting it from condensation, abrasion, or ink degradation over time.

The print is protected by museum-quality glass offering 70% UV protection. This premium glass reduces glare and prevents unwanted reflections, allowing the true tones and fine details of the photograph to remain visible under any lighting condition. While many standard frames use conventional glazing, we consider museum glass a non-negotiable standard — essential for both aesthetic presentation and the long-term preservation of each piece.

Each artwork is available in both portrait and landscape orientation, with the motif carefully optimized for its specific layout, ensuring that the visual balance and composition are true to the artist’s original intent.

shadow gap FRAME

Our Shadow Gap Frame offers a contemporary, gallery-style presentation that gives each artwork a striking sense of depth and presence. Designed without glass, this configuration turns the piece itself into a finished acrylic art object — clean, modern, and built to last.

Each print is mounted on Alu-Dibond, a rigid composite surface that provides perfect flatness and stability. The image is then sealed with a matte acrylic layer, enhancing contrast and color depth while eliminating reflections. This process not only protects the surface from UV exposure and humidity but also creates a subtle tactile quality that invites close viewing.

Unlike traditional frames, the Shadow Gap (also known as a floating frame) creates a delicate visual separation between the artwork and the outer wooden frame, giving the illusion that the image is suspended within its border. This floating effect draws the viewer’s focus entirely to the motif itself.

Available exclusively in wood, each Shadow Gap Frame is finished in either covering-white or black, and made to order locally by our framing specialists using premium materials manufactured in Germany.

While many acrylic wall pieces use glossy coatings or standard laminations, our matte finish ensures a glare-free, museum-grade appearance — sophisticated, understated, and true to the artist’s intent.
